US-AFRICA SUMMIT 2022: JOE BIDEN’S ADDRESSES AFRICAN LEADERS AT THE ONGOING SUMMIT IN WASHINGTON DC TODAY

JOE BIDEN’S ADDRESSES AFRICAN LEADERS AT THE ONGOING SUMMIT IN WASHINGTON DC TODAY

Yesterday we brought you a report about African Leaders in Washington, where Blinken stresses partnership with African innovators. Well, President Biden is hosting leaders from across the African continent in Washington, DC starting today December 13-15, 2022, for the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit. This summit is really a reflection of the U.S. strategy towards Sub-Saharan Africa and the African Union’s Agenda 2063, both of which emphasize the critical importance of the region in meeting this era’s defining challenges. The President has invited 49 African heads of state, as you all know, plus the AU Chair Commissioner to Washington, D.C., for this three-day summit, really to highlight how the United States and our African partners are strengthening our partnerships and advancing shared priorities.

It is believed that the Summit will demonstrate the United States’ enduring commitment to Africa, and will underscore the importance of U.S.-Africa relations and increased cooperation on shared global priorities. Africa will shape the future — not just the future of the African people, but of the world. Africa will make the difference in tackling the most urgent challenges and seizing the opportunities we all face. There’s been mixed feelings to this amongst the southern cameroons, Ambazonians on the ground, on one hand feel paul biya who has not successfully tackled the problems in his country should not have been invited, even though he already is invited.

And the legal minds Barr. Tim and Barr. Fru on the other hand believes DIPLOMACY WORKS DIFFERENTLY.

A highlight on what’s been said this U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit will build on, as concerns our shared values to better are: To Foster new economic engagement. Advance peace, security, and good governance. Reinforce commitment to democracy, human rights, and civil society.

+ Work collaboratively to strengthen regional and global health security

+ Promote food security

+ Respond to the climate crisis

+ Amplify diaspora ties

+ Promote education and youth leadership

+ Reinforce commitment to democracy”

I’m sure democracy does not deny a people freedom to self determination, self defense, or a right to live.

Because as it is, the three of ours who were indicted, have not done anything graver than these.

Well, In as much as Joe Biden

“Looks forward to working with African governments, civil society, diaspora communities across the United States, and the private sector to continue strengthening our shared vision for the future of U.S.-Africa relations” as said in his own words

We here at undaunted also look forward to the end and true intent of these stated Agenda for the US African Summit
