The IG Holds La République du Cameroun Responsible for Arson on Mamfe District Hospital

The Interim Government of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia is condemning in very strong terms the burning down of the Mamfe District Hospital in the Southern Zone of Ambazonia on the night of June 8 2022.

The IG holds La République Cameroun responsible for the arson which it is using as a distraction to divert the attention of the international community after its gruesome massacre of more than 9 civilians in Missong village - Fungom Local Government Area in the Savannah Zone of Ambazonia.

In 2019, La République du Cameroun ( LRC) burnt down the Kumba district hospital, ransacked the Shisong hospital and threatened to set ablaze the health establishment on purported claims that it was providing medical attention to Ambazonian fighters.

The Interim Government observes that the burning down of the Mamfe District Hospital is a continuation of La République Cameroun's hostility towards health structures and staff, after they chased away Doctors Without Borders and threw its staff in jail.

The Interim Government reminds La République du Cameroun authorities that the burning down of the Mamfe district hospital, the destruction of its equipment will not go unpunished and will not stop the Ambazonian people from fighting for their liberation and independence.
