TARING OF BAMENDA ROADS
AMBAZONIANS CELEBRATE A SHADOW OF TARRED ROAD
Bamenda City dwellers are tired of lies from the so called Bamenda City Mayor in-house slave Paul Achombong on the taring of Bamenda City roads. It is like there is no hope that tar roads will again be seen on the roads of Bamenda. Knowing that Southern Cameroonians are desperate to have good roads, LRC via the colonial Delegate of Public Works has started putting economic tar on Bamenda City roads. Whom are they deceiving and for how long will this last? Commuters in Bamenda have woken up this Sunday 18th December with mixed feelings as the illegal North West Regional Delegation of Public Works have started works on the urban road network. They have started the double surface dressing from the Veterinary Junction to Ngeng Junction.
Speaking in an exclusive chat with UNDAUNTED, colonial Ngwainbi Paul, the so called Regional Delegate of Public Works hinted that the works will be carried out to minimize the dust in the city of Bamenda. The streets have really been dusty since the potholes were dealt with. This caused the illegal Delegation to water the roads at least twice a day but a few hours after, with the heavy traffic, the roads became dusty again. In-house slave Ngwainbi Paul notes that the illegal Delegation will do its best to make Christmas enjoyable in Bamenda this year with better roads. Stones and other debris were taken off gutters over the last two weeks before reaching this stage.
This economic tarring comes after delays in tarring the urban perimeter of Bamenda. Works that have stalled for more than six years now. One of the major complaints before the conflict morphed into an armed conflict was the road network in Bamenda. Happy that something is being done, many passersby are only wishing that permanent works are done on the road, and not a temporary one like the previous that made things worse on them.
