SDF REPLIES AGBOR BALLA
Enabler Felix Agbor Balla rejects the olive branch of Enabler Fru Ndi's cadre and Ni John Fru Ndi's SDF goes bananas. Like I told you earlier the news is getting sweeter. Initially about last week the SDF party of Ni John Fru Ndi sent out a communique officially appointing Agbor Balla as a member of the SDF party, to which Agbor Balla declined in a written statement that went viral on the social media early this week. Now Fru Ndi’s cadre, the SDF has reacted to some of the statements Agbor Balla made in another public letter written to Agbor Balla.
The letter goes:
“Felix Agbor Nkongho,
CHRDA
Dear Barrister Agbor Balla,
APPOINTMENT AS Member OF The SDF Shadow CABINET
Thank you for your public letter declining your appointment to the SDF Shadow cabinet.
On October 12, 2021, Hon. Joshua Osih reached out to me explaining that you had been in conversation with him about moving into politics under the banner of the SDF. Your membership was discussed with at least three members of the Shadow cabinet who expressed serious concerns about the request, we decided to support the request because I believed Hon. Osih could use the support of a young and dynamic person like you to address the challenges within the party and prepare for critical negotiation with the government.
Since January 2022, when discussions on a potential transition government picked up, I have worked with several of my trusted advisers to create a special accommodation for you. It has required that we restructure the party just to make this possible. At every juncture. Hon Osih has consulted with you to make sure you are updated on all developments and key decisions.”
“After close to four decades of fighting for change in Cameroon, I have learned that it is important to say what you mean and mean what you say. I may not understand this new social media politics that the new generation prefers, but know that when a man makes a commitment. He has to follow through…
It is with great sadness in my heart that I read your public letter dissociating yourself from a decision that you have been a part of from the very beginning. Whatever your reasons for such a dramatic change of heart. I will continue to hope and pray that you will always put the people above your personal ambitions.
I will ask the good Lord to continue to grant you wisdom in your choices and hope that in your future, He gives you the wisdom and courage to respect commitment that touches the lives of our people.
Goodluck in your future endeavors.
Ni John Fru Ndi
National chairman”
