LRC’S MILITARY ACCORD WITH RUSSIA
Russia - Cameroun Diabolic Military Accord can be Stopped if the US & UK intervene Now.
Alright we’re going to take a look at the military accord Lrc signed with Russia. Cameroon signed an agreement on April 12 last year with Russia for military cooperation. According to security sources, the agreement was part of the continuation of military ties between the two countries for several years, with the emphasis recently on the revision of the military deal signed in 2015.
From African news we understand that:
"On the instructions of Cameroon's Head of State Paul Biya and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Defence Minister Joseph Beti Assomo and his Russian counterpart, General Sergei Shoogou, they inked the documents that defined the military cooperation. In the 13 page document, the two countries agreed to exchange opinions and information on defence policies and international security, development of relations in the areas of joint training, medicine, topography or military hydrography.”
They also agree to exchange experiences, and interaction in peace support operations under the aegis of the United Nations. The symbolic deal established in Moscow, comes as several countries around the world withdraw ties with the Kremlin, to impose sanctions. And not just that, but also at a time when Lrc outrightly turned its back on the Swiss led peace process going on at the time.
Question is
Why would Lrc get into a military accord with Russia? Especially around the time it committed the blunder of rejecting the swiss led mediations? Worthy to note the trump administration gave a sanction to Lrc, suspending every military aid when they realized that Lrc was using the military aid given to them to fight against boko haram, to instead kill citizens of the southern Cameroons.
