HIGH PRICES AFFECTS AMBAZONIA
Inflation plagues Ambazonian communities and Ngoketunjia County Reacts to possible economic overreach by the colonial government.
Now, it is war in Ukraine and pulls global energy until global markets are affected.
There is war in Ambazonia and the world is mute. The Russia-Ukraine War affects even Ambazonia too. What's the manipulation?
Before we get into that, as global grain trade looms, there are other places that we can look to, but it's nowhere near enough to make up for what could be lost from the Black Sea region. India is moving to try to ship a lot more wheat. They have a big wheat harvest, but they typically don't export a lot of the grain. Australia is likely to ship more, and we can already see in the data that some other countries on the Black Sea, like Bulgaria and Romania, they're shipping more wheat. South America is stepping in. Brazil and Argentina wheat exports in March, I believe, more than doubled from those countries, but in the short term, none of this is likely to fill the hole.
And, like I said, grain is continuing to flow from Russia. So exporters there have found some workarounds and managed to get some grain out of the country. And in Ukraine, grain traders, they are managing to get a small amount of crops out of the country, either by rail or by truck to Poland and Romania. But this is just a really very small volume compared to what Ukraine normally ships. And there's just a lot of it. The rail system wasn't built to carry millions and tons of grain, so there're all sorts of infrastructure challenges that they're running into.
In Ambazonia, it would appear that the colonial administration is taking advantage of the economic crisis to inflict unjustifiable pain to Ambazonians farmers and traders.
I want you to listen to the audio statement that was released Saturday by the Ngoketunjia security team and when we come back we will take some questions and make some analysis.
