GENDARMES KILLED IN BABADJOU

We are receiving reports that three Gendarmes were seriously injured by suspected restoration fighters in neighbouring Babadjou. It is now even evident that no dirty politics will quench the peoples hunger for freedom. According to the reports, Residents around the Babadjou Gendarmeries brigade in neighbouring Lrc’ western region had a sleepless night this Monday breaking Tuesday as a heavy gun battle between suspected Ambazonia forces and elements of the National Gendarmerie of the locality lasted for almost an hour.
Security sources say the suspected fighters attempted an invasion of the gendarmerie post before meeting stiff resistance from the colonial government forces. The colonial senior divisional officer for Bamboutos François Franquelin Etapa informed of the situation, descended to the site together with the colonial divisional officer of Babadjou Yepga Ngos Mathieu Brice. The injured are MDL Assoumou mle 23109, MDL Ngonyem mle 24251 and GEND Mponi Mle 32080 An uneasy calm now reigns in and around Babadjou.
