ETO'O FILS JOINS POLITICS
Can the Yaounde colonial regime use Eto’o Fils to end the ongoing war in Ambazonia? Failures of Colonial la République Du Cameroun government to lure Ambazonia to bow down to them continue to multiply. After a failed reconstruction process in the heart of a raging war where the people wondered aloud whether the colonial government was counting also on miracles to reconstruct war torn Ambaland,
After a failed DDR - disarmament demobilisation and rehabilitation centres which ended up as self imprisonment or voluntary imprisonment centres and from where the colonial government exploited and recruited spies, vigilantes or anti Amba fighters to steal, kill, kidnap and request ransom only to paint the Ambazonian restoration forces black. After using Cho Ayaba, ADF, BIR and Colonel. Bamkui axis to no avail. After using Chris Anu and coupers to no avail etc. After using Paul Tasong, Atanga Nji, Phikemon Yang, Dion Ngute, Fru Ndi etc, The Yaounde junta has now found a new route to use sports as a factor of unity to keep Ambazonia in slavery.
I would hasten to say that they are jokers. Their joker this time is the La République Cameroun colonial international football star, Eto’o Fils who doubles as Fecafoot president. Eto’o announces that the number one enemy of Ambazonia, the French Brasseries du Cameroun will construct stadia in Cameroun, beginning with Bamenda. This in no doubt is a big ploy to lure their so called Anglo Fools. We think every bonafide Ambazonia must stay vigilant and be on the alert to nib such a bait in the bud. La République du Cameroun can't fool Southern Cameroonians/ Ambazonians all the time. Paul Biya on taking office made his first outing to Bamenda where he lied that Bamenda was his second home and made a fake promise that he, Biya was going to supervise the ring road.
Today, 40 years after taking office, there is no ring road. Who do they think they are fooling? Eto’o has just climbed up as fecafoot president and Ambazonians don’t need any more fallacious promises from the colonists because what God had put asunder let no one try to put together. Eto’o thought this was going to be business as usual but the reactions on social media have been different. One Ambazonian reacted and I read: "Politicians always amazes me with empty promises. Come to Bamenda stadium with your communications secretary Ernest Obama and make the speech.
Firstly, make genuine peace talks with the people and restoration forces. Secondly, Brasserie is Banned in Southern Cameroons or Ambazonia. The people truly need peace which you have totally refused to talk about or empathize with even with the kill$ings of babies and youths. We can already x-ray your agenda.
Stop looking only for what interests your Political ambitions and Ego. We need basic necessities like clean water, good roads, good health care, improving the quality of life of the people in these regions, Education etc. Building a gigantic stadium for the homeless or IDPs is a waste of resources. Use that money to build Menchum Dam that can generate electricity and bring way more income into the economy than football. Your agenda is well calculated."
Another school of thought insinuates that Eto’o's lofty promise is a way to buy himself some more support from the government to avoid ejection as FECAFOOT president after haven been charged with fraud. Eto’o, who played for Barcelona from 2004 to 2009, received a fine and a 22-month suspended sentence but will not serve any time, as is customary in Spain for prison terms of under two years for non-violent crimes. Reports in Spain claim Eto’o, 41, will pay a fine of 1.8 million euros ($1.9 million).
The record four-time African footballer of the year and Jose Maria Mesalles — his former representative, who for his part was sentenced to 12 months and a fine — must reimburse Spanish tax authorities for the amount defrauded, around 3.9 million euros. Prosecutors accused Eto’o of failing to declare income from the transfer of image rights between 2006 and 2009. Former Cameroon football star Samuel Eto’o has struck a deal with Spanish prosecutors to avoid going to jail for tax fraud he committed while playing for Barcelona, a court in the city announced Monday last week.
Well, Ambazonia will not be your easy exchange Mr. Eto’o. Now let's even think for one minute that your lofty promise is honest; there are questions you may have to provide urgent answers. Do you even think that Ambazonia will forget so soon how that the economy has been raped for 6 long decades? What happened to Tiko, Bafut, Bali, Mamfe Airports? What happened to the Tole Tea Estate? What happened to the Southern Cameroon Bank? What happened to the Marketing board?
Let's move into another news story please.
