CPDM MILITANTS IN BANGEM
CPDM Militants, Nhia Clan Join Popular Cry For Portable Water For Bangem LGA
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The colonial LRC ruler Paul Biya has under the guise of his party cum the ruling PARTY, the Cameroun Peoples Democratic Movement CPDM, mobilized a handful of supporters to himself. With tax payers money, he has managed to keep them loyal to him.
This group of dishonest individuals for their belly sake will defend Paul Biya on every platform they are oppurtuned to even with their lives. Of course they don't have any lives, for they have long offered their lives to Paul Biya for top positions in government, for fame and fast cash.
While these top party comrades of Biya feed fat from the states coffers, grassroot supperters of CPDM are left to feed on crumbs and fallacious promises. A group of CPDM grass root supporters that have never seen anything wrong with the Biya government have joined the cry of patriots to press for portable water and the tarring of roads in Bangem LGA.
What has caused the scales on their eyes to fall off for th to see the wrongs of their party head? Or Is it just the appropriate time for them to join the genuine voices and expose the lapses of Biya's government?
Militants of the colonial Cameroun People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM, Nhia Clan, Bangem LGA, have joined the population to cry for pipe borne water, and the tarring of roads to lake Muanenguba.
The militants were speaking on November 5th, 2022, during a joint Sub Sections Conference of CPDM Nhia I, II, III, and IV, that took place in Muabi village, under the theme,
“Peace, Social Cohesion, National Integration as Base line for Sustainable Development in Cameroun.”
The conference was in prelude to the celebration of the ruby jubilee of the president of LRC, Paul Biya at the helm of the state, on November 6.
During the interactive session, militants lamented that all the seven villages of Nhia clan (Muabi, Muelong, Poala, Muanenguba, Muasum, Mbat, and Ekambeng), lack portable water.
Water the bigwigs of the party have been promising to provide and have never fulfilled. The Militants said this neglect is causing much suffering on the population who have done nothing wrong to deserve this.
The militants further regretted that roads to their various villages are dilapidated. Most especially, they pointed that the road to the Muanenguba twin lakes located in Poala village is extremely bad.
According to them, this bad roads discourages tourists from visiting the lake, stalling the development of the entire clan, and Bangem LGA in general.
Besides, the militants also lamented the lack of electricity in their villages. They appealed for the construction of market sheds in their villages, and the employment of their youths.
Responding to their worries, Kang told them that they will be channeled to hierarchy for immediate action. His presentation centered on the theme of the event. He talked on the meaning of peace, social cohesion, techniques of peace building, and the need to maintain peace within the clan, Bangem LGA and Kupe Muanenguba in general.
"It has been like this with our party leaders here. They don't take responsibility of the demands of the people. All they say as the case here is that the demands will be channeled to the party head Paul Biya. Till next gathering, you will not hear anything or word from the so called hierarchy and our leaders here will disappear to Yaounde. This exploitation has to stop." A militant who preferred anonymity opined.
At the end of the conference, it was resolved that in order to solidify unity in Nhia, major events in the clan should be rotatory, from village to another.
Bangem is a LGA that is blessed with the Muanenguba twin lake that could have been a source of income for the development of the locality in the Southern zone of Ambazonia, if not of the strategy of LRC to crumble Ambazonia.
