The quest for who to lead the struggle for the liberation of Southern Cameroon and ascertain independence has brought about different factions or groups with all claiming the same objective for Ambazonia, yet not agreeing.
This power tussle left the people of the home front confused on where to get reliable information and instructions. This confusion stems from the fact when one of the factions dishes out instructions, a contradictory instructions would come from the next faction.

This is the question that many think is the main cause of delay the fight for the independence of Ambazonia is having.
Lately from every indication, the people of the home front have recognised the IG of Dr Sako Ikome as the lead, right and reliable group.

Denizens of the town of Bamenda Tuesday August 2, 2022 expressed joy that the call for a 31 Day Lockdown failed
This rumoured lockdown was to start Tuesday August 2, 2022 given that Monday is the traditional lockdown in Southern Cameroon.
This call for a 31 Day Lockdown is said to have been called by Chris Anu answerable to Dr Cho Ayaba of the ADF.
No justification was advanced to sway the people of the home front aline for such a lockdown.
While tongues were still waggling, the IG with President Sako cleared the air that no such lockdown has been imposed and therefore people of the home front should go about with their daily activities.
Tuesday August 2,2022 therefore was the day for the whole World to know whom the people of Ambazonia have given the mandate to coordinate the fight for independence to.
There was no lockdown. People were involved with their routine businesses unperturbed. The people of Ambazonia saw Dr Sako Ikome's call for no lockdown worth taking to the bank, and the lockdown was not observed.
UNDAUNTED talked to some Bamenda city duellers who expressed their happiness to the fact that the lockdown did not hold.
It is worth remembering that prior to the July 25, 2022 visit of President Emmanuel Macron of France to La Republique du Cameroun, the IG called for a 3 day lockdown to send a message to Macron that Ambazonia is at war. A counter message came from Chris Anu calling on people not to respect IG's call.
The people of the home front despised the plea for no lockdown and the 3 day lockdown was observed. Even when Macron stayed just two of the initially announced three days visit, Ambazonia was shot down for three days
